Adamawa calls for calm, urges support for Makinde’s re-election

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Atisbo/Saki West/ Saki East Federal Constituency in 2023, Dr Lukman Adisa Adamawa, has appealed to his supporters to be calm, stating that he would accept the outcome of the election whether favourable or not. Adamawa, who also extended his deep appreciations to both his followers, friends and party members across the Federal Constituency, urged them to forget the past and start working for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde whom according to him, has performed creditably well to be re-elected. The PDP candidate’s plea is coming in the wake of his loss to the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, in Saturday’s House of Representatives election. The outcome of the election came as a big blow to many PDP supporters in Oke-ogun who had earlier anticipated victory for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party with the wide popularity he enjoy in the Federal Constituency.
