Empowerment: Omirinde's Wife Puts Smile on the Faces of Women in Saki west

 


The Firstlady of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Mrs. Jelilat Omirinde has appreciated the women in the local government area for their continuous support given towards the present administration as she extolled that their role is significant and pronounced them of being Women of value in the society

This was contained in a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media & Publicity, Mr. Mukaila Muideen. recall, that, The Firstlady, Hon. Mrs, Omirinde acknowledges the women for their involvements in the local politics and development.

Hon. Omirinde equally noted that women at both State and Federal are playing a vital role in developing the State in part and country as a whole, this is why His Excellecy Engr Mrs Tamunominini Makinde the wife of Oyo State Governor always takes the welfare of women, female child at heart and we are equally replicated the good gesture by supporting them at grassroot. In the same vain, she informed the them that the gesture was born out of the determination this administration to truly restore the pride and dignity of everyone in the council. She added that this administration is conscious and concern of their plight that is why the gesture


She also calls for more women to join politics and have a meaningful impact for the growth Nigeria.

Furthermore, Hon. Omirinde appreciates the efforts of the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the transformation he has been giving to Saki west Local Government in particular and Oyo state as a whole.

Likewise, she gives kudos to Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, wife of Oyo State Governor for not relenting in supporting her husband in achieving more progresses in the state. However, She charged the Woman Leaders across Wards, asking them for continuous support so all PDP candidates and Gov Seyi Makinde in particular win the forthcoming 2023 General election

One of the beneficiary, Mrs Ojerinde Serah from Ward 9 appreciate the wife of chairman for not forgetting them in the ongoing government of Oyo State and also call for more from the present administration in the state.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road. Prince Dotun Oyelade specifically said: "As a matter of fact, " you can now ply the Ibadan-Iseyin road and from Iseyin to Ogbomosoland, a distance of 150km without stepping on a federal road; all constructed by Gov.
