PDP Governor's Forum: Omirinde Rejoices With Gov. Seyi Makinde As He Becomes New Chairman


The Saki West Local Government Council Chairman, Engr. Sarafadeen Ahmed OMIRINDE has Congratulated and rejoiced with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, H.E Seyi Makinde who has just emerged as the New Chairman of People's Democratic Party PDP Governor's Forum

In his congratulatory message made available by his Special Assistant on Media & Publicity Mukaila Muideen, said.

The Council boss, recalls that Gov Seyi Makinde emergence comes up following the resignation of Gov Aminu Tambuwal at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) BoT and NEC meeting in Abuja. However Former Chairman Aminu Tambuwal who stepped down after BoT Chairman, Walid Jibril announced his resignation in a bid to restore peace on the recent crisis rocking the party. He added that for PDP Presidential candidate, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to win come 2023 General Election all hands must be on deck and the crisis needs to redress towards our mission on rescuing Nigeria


Omirinde further, describes Gov Seyi Makinde as a man of God with unprecedented achievements in the state. He has lunched many policies reviving the state economy and with him in charge now, his program will not only promote Nigeria unity at Large, make the party more stronger but also vest The People's Democratic Party PDP a chance of wining the general election as he has been displaying in Oyo State. He is man full of kindness, resilience and grit, and has maintained some magnanimous roles in which he has a radical ideas that will bring positive change to our Party, PDP. We so believe in his Leadership capabilities towards restructuring our systems, he added.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road. Prince Dotun Oyelade specifically said: "As a matter of fact, " you can now ply the Ibadan-Iseyin road and from Iseyin to Ogbomosoland, a distance of 150km without stepping on a federal road; all constructed by Gov.
