2023: Saki West PDP Inaugurates Campaign Council in Local and Ward levels

 

The Director General of Gov. Seyi Makinde Campaign Council in Saki West, Hon Salaudeen Soliu Adelabu has inaugurated the campaign council of People's Democratic party (PDP) in Local and Ward levels to work for the success of the Party and its candidate at all levels in the forthcoming 2023 general election.


The inauguration which took place at Saki West Local Government Secretarial early hours of today had in attendance the Executive Chairman Saki West Local Government, Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde Ahmed, PDP House of Rep's Candidate Atisbo, Saki East & Saki West Federal Constituency Dr. LUKMAN ADISA SALAMI (Adamawa), Hon Rafiu Adekunle Former Minority Leader of Oyo State House of Assembly, Alh. Ganiyu Alaka Chairman PDP Elder's Forum, Alh Wasiu Ayesoro PDP party Chairman, Alh. Raheem Muslim Liaison Officer on IFEDAPO CONSTITUENCY to Gov. Seyi Makinde, other PDP stakeholders and party faithful who grace the occasion.

Speaking at the events, Engr. Sarafadeen Omirinde commended GSM campaign coordinator, Hon. Adelabu for his proactive preparation, foresight and ready mind in ensuring that come 2023 general elections, PDP would be victorious in Saki West, National level and in the entire state. 


He further urged the campaign council to see the course as one of service to humanity and making sure to spread the gospel of good governance that Governor Seyi Makinde has started since taking office, as well as to enjoy the electoral success of the many accomplishments that have been recorded by this administration, as the party has many projects to showcase for the community, while the other party has nothing. 

“However, with that, we need to engage our people more so that there would be continuation of the PDP administration,”— he added. 

Hon. Rafiu Adekunle, who also spoke at the event, tasked the committees at the local and ward levels to live up to expectations, saying that the party expects positive results from the assignment given to them. 

He therefore charged them to visit some strategic locations for a smooth campaign outing and prayed for their overall success. 

Other party stakeholders in their separate remarks applauded Gov Seyi Makinde for his Leadership role in handling the affairs of Oyo State.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road.
