2023: Political Ladies Team (PLT), Charge Saki East Female Youth to Participate Actively in Politics.

..Says it's only their involvement that can give them equal benefit.

 The Group of Intellectual Female Youths named Political Ladies Team (PLT), which had its headquarters in Saki West Local Government has summons a meeting with other female youth in neighboring town in a bid to initiate the Female Youths into political participation in regards to the forthcoming general election.


According to the PLT president, Comr. Jinnad Sherifat while addressing the Female Youths at the meeting held in Ogbooro, Saki East Local Govt, stated that the main aim of the meeting is to sensitize the female youths on the needs to participate actively in politics. Adding that, it is the only avenue that can allow their voices to be heard, and it could also give them a sense of belonging/a fair share of dividends of democracy.

She further encouraged those members present to visit their respective wards as soon as possible to join the party stakeholders in order to work assiduously for the progress and success of all PDP candidates starting from H.E Alh Atiku Abubakar (PDP Presidential Candidate) H.E Engr Seyi Makinde (The Second term bidder), Hon Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle (PDP Oyo North Senatorial Candidate), Dr Lukman Adisa Salami 'Adamawa' (PDP House of Rep's Candidate for Saki West, Saki East & Atisbo Federal Constituency) and other PDP candidates.


She noted that our main focused is to be part of this current political dispensation in other for us to be recognize in every political activities because we are fully ready to promote female generation by involving in system of government, However one cannot know how things being played except you're part of them. Our involvement will stop being neglected in every position we should meet a Female. Apparently, our team have ventured in some community engagement, whereby we contribute greatly to promote female gender and further encourage them of achieving the common goals.

While speaking the PLT coordinator in Saki West LG, Alh. Sofiat Oyesiji who doubled as supervisory councilor for Agriculture & Education for Saki West LG applauded Gov. Seyi Makinde for his efforts in allowing Women to be part of his administration and added that, he has awaken the Youths, woman and we need not to sleep again as we can also be part of the new system who believes in rescuing Nigeria.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road.
