Ogunsola Canvasses Safety Driving for Iwajowa Motorists, Okada Riders as Yuletide Approaches

Honorable Anthony Oladejo Ogunsola has implored Motorists, Okada Riders and other road users in Iwajowa Local Government to drive and ride safely ahead of the yuletide season.


Ogunsola, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly in Iwajowa stated this while briefing his Media Organisation on the need to re-echo safety measures for his Constituency.


He noted as the people of Iwajowa will soon begin to celebrate Christmas and usher in New Year, they should be mindful of the simple traffic rules which say: "Don't drink while you drive and don't drive while you drink".

According to him, I wish you, my dear Iwajowa residents, to drive safely and avoid taking alcoholic drinks while driving.


"Devote your time to prayers both in the church and the mosque and avoid a gathering that can land you in trouble or endanger your life;


"Obey the road traffics and avoid night journey. Wishing all of us happy Christmas and New Year in advance", the incoming Honorable, Ogunsola wishes Iwajowa residents ahead of yuletide.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road.
