SAKIWEST: Ward 10 Councillor, Super & SA Empowered People With Cash



Members of SakiWest L.G legislative Council in person of Hon Salami Mutawakilu Afolabi, The Supervisory Councilor for Works, Agric & Transport in person of Hon Salami Waheed Akinlola, The Special Adviser to Chairman in person of Hon Dn Ogungbenro Emmanuel and Hon Salaudeen Aliu Tunde had jointly donated a total some of #150,000 naira to 30 people from their ward where the money presented evenly to them and amounted to #5000 per head, the action considered as part of efforts to empower less privileged people in society. 


According to a statement made available to newsmen, The benefactors believes this action was as a result of their sense of fundamental responsibility of giving back to community regardless little or huge they have capacity of discharging and it was on this note they've taken an applaudable step by donating  cash to support less privileged people  in community. 


The entire populace and beneficiaries in this ward were so optimistic seeing their representatives giving back to their society and the kind gesture redeemed their trust and confidence, they're hopeful of more dividends of democracy anticipating them and equally attested the fact that the cash will in one way or the other go a long way in rendering financial assistance for starting up certain petty business, it was regarded a commendable decision and they look forward for more in no distant time in their statement while speaking at the event today Dec 31st 2022 at Oge primary School Saki.
