2023: Saki West Deputy Leader Vows For Women Participation In Politics, Donates Cash & Food Items At Ward Meeting

 


The Deputy Leader and member of Saki West Legislative Council representing Ward 02 Hon Mrs Jinnad Adenike has supported old age woman, youth and members of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in her ward with cash and food items, she also charged the young female to participate actively in partisan politics added that it is only way their voice could be heard and of course their efforts can also be recognized in line with package prepared for young female generation.


Mrs Jinnad Adenike disclose this during ward 02 weekly meeting held at Apinite where she added that this gesture was to give back to the people, society who gave her the mandate to serve as a legislator in Saki West Local Government Area Legislative Arm.

She noted that the gesture was also aimed to support Dr Lukman Adisa Salami Adamawa, PDP House of Representatives Candidate Saki West, Saki East & Atisbo Federal Constituency and other PDP candidates at all levels.  


A beneficiary who expressed his gratitude to the lawmaker, saying he hasn’t seen the such magnitude of packages in the ward 2 since his time in politics, He further pointed out that it has proven the popular adage – ‘what a man can do, a woman can do it even better“ Hon. Mrs Jinnad Adenike has done well by providing adequate needs for her people and we did not regret sending her to the council to represent us”.


Mrs Jinnad Adenike also promised to continue with this good will by putting smile on the faces of her constituents but urged them to support PDP with massive turn out vote in next month general election and adviced those who are yet to obtain their permanent voter's card to urgently proceed to the INEC office in saki west local government or visit ward as the exercise is going on in various ward currently so they can pick up their voter card because that's the only tool available for them to send APC out of corridor of power at the Federal level, she said.
