SAKIWEST LG: First lady Welcomes Triplet as the baby of the year in Saki.

… Shares Compliments with cash prizes and other gifts.

The chairperson of Saki West local government, Alhaja Jelilat Omirinde embarked on her yearly visitation to government health facilities in order to celebrate the new born babies and bless the first baby of the year with exceptional gifts.


it is surprising to know that the baby of the year to be welcomed in Saki West Local Government are "Triplet" and it is a great Joy as we heartily rejoice with the family and pray for the baby's long life. 

The activities was part of the welfare package lined up by the office of the Chairman to reach out to the people of the local government who just put to bed in the early hours of the new year.


This year's activities was carried out in several maternities across Saki West, Wewe LCDA and Asabari LCDA.


Mrs. Omirinde presented gifts which includes beverages and other items to the mother of the new baby and specially prayed for the baby who hold the record of the baby of the year with baby bath and other gifts. However, she also called for more women to join politics using this opportunity to enjoin the people in Saki especially woman, female Youths to vote all PDP candidates and take part in the meaningful impact for the growth of Nigeria.

In response to Dr. Lasisi Olagunju's comment, the commissioner, Prince Dotun Oyelade, claimed that within the last five years, Governor Seyi Makinde constructed roads totaling 150km, allowing travel from Ibadan to Ogbomosoland without touching a federal road. Prince Dotun Oyelade specifically said: "As a matter of fact, " you can now ply the Ibadan-Iseyin road and from Iseyin to Ogbomosoland, a distance of 150km without stepping on a federal road; all constructed by Gov.
