CELEBRATING MY LEADER, HON. DR. LUKMAN ADISA ADAMAWA, OKE OGUN YOUTH LEADER

By Hon Muideen Gold

Today, October 2nd, 2023, I rise to use my golden page to congratulate my indefatigable leader, Hon. Dr. Lukman Adisa Adamawa Omo Balode, an esteemed figure in Oke Ogun. He is not only a Saki-born Political Economist but also a former Special Adviser to His Excellency on Federal Constituency matters. I'm proud to be part of your journey and your generation.

I want to highlight my leader's outstanding achievements as a dedicated public servant and advocate for equal representation. Throughout his career, my leader, Hon. Dr. Adamawa, has tirelessly worked to improve the lives of our youth, focusing on community development and social justice. He's been a strong voice for the vulnerable and a catalyst for positive policy changes at local and state levels.

My leader, Hon. Dr. Adamawa, has instilled an "I can do" spirit in the youth of Oke Ogun. He once shared valuable advice with me: to succeed in modern society, young individuals from Oke-Ogun need either significant resources or exceptional knowledge. He encouraged us to read more and stressed that determination, hard work, and good character can take us to great heights.

Under his grassroots campaign, my leader, Hon. Dr. Adamawa, has engaged with critical stakeholders and connected with people on the streets, both within and beyond the Federal Constituency, using innovative approaches. Stakeholder engagement, as Philip Hovel's thesis suggests, is crucial for participatory, inclusive, and responsive governance. My leader, Adamawa, has shown that understanding the people you work with is vital for successful implementation and sincerity of purpose.

Despite facing criticism and ridicule from certain politicians who label him a "small boy," my leader, Hon. Dr. Adamawa, with his unique political approach, has the potential to bring about positive change. He has maintained his integrity and has never been associated with corruption or looting of government funds.

Today, as we celebrate your birthday, Dr. Lukman Adisa Adamawa, I salute your courage, integrity, and vision. I am optimistic about the continued progress and positive changes you will bring to our community. You serve as a role model for Nigerian youth, and I wish you many more years of success and leadership.
